Evita And Louis had 3 babies on February 22, 2019. All babies are sold.
As per our usual commitment, all our babies will go to new homes after they have been vaccinated twice, dewormed twice, fully weaned and are eating solid food, kitty litter trained, fully socialized, in process of getting comfortable with their frequent baths and, of course, spayed/neutered. They come to you with a health certificate from our trusted veterinarian, vaccination records and registration with TICA.
FullMontySphynx is a small hobby cattery located in Rockland, Ontario, Canada, just 20 minutes east of Ottawa. We are committed to the betterment of the Sphynx breed and strive to raise healthy, happy, well-adapted animals.
Our kittens and their parents are on the loose and are raised as part of the family with our 3 kids and our 3 dogs in a loving, caring and nourishing environment. As a result, all of our cats are unique characters with unique personalities, come fully socialized, they are naturally affectionate, curious and love attention while sufficiently independent, just like any other cats.
Kittens’ health is paramount to us and we take their well-being seriously: our cattery is TICA registered and we breed only animals that are tested and confirmed FIV, HCM, FCoV and FeLV negative. Our contracts have minimal stipulations, are drafted to ensure protection of both sides and allow flexibility to address your personal circumstances.
Potential adoptive families are welcome to visit our cattery on an appointment basis. Thank you for visiting our website and feel free to email or call us, with love to talk about our Sphynx!
The Sphynx is a breed of cat developed through selective breeding starting in the 1960s, known for its lack of a coat (fur), though it is not truly hairless. The skin should have the texture of chamois, as it has fine hairs. Whiskers may be present, either whole or broken, or may be totally absent. The skin is the color their fur would be, and all the usual cat marking patterns (solid, point, van, tabby, tortie, etc.) may be found on Sphynx skin. Because they have no coat, they lose more body heat than coated cats. This makes them warm to the touch as well as heat-seeking. These cats love body heat which makes them extra snuggly
Though Sphynx cats lack a coat to shed or groom, they are not maintenance free. Body oils, which would normally be absorbed by the hair, tend to build up on the skin. As a result, regular bathing is usually necessary on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Care should be taken to limit the Sphynx cat's exposure to outdoor sunlight at length, as they can develop sunburn and skin damage similar to that of humans.
Sphynx are cats with personality of dogs and are known for their extroverted behaviour. They will be right in the middle of action while remaining very gentle and non-aggressive. Sphynx display a high level of energy, intelligence, curiosity and affection for their owners: they will be meeting you at the door and politely friendly when encountering strangers. They are simply superior in cleanliness and disposition, and you never have to worry about cat hair on your furniture or dark clothes.

We are just an ordinary family with full-time jobs, a suburban house and 3 kids and we happen to have a passion in life: our little cattery is our hobby and we love our pets!
We have four females of Canadian Sphynx and two Bambino females and one elf female in our cattery as well as we have two Canadian sphynx males and one male elf. Just like our family, our cats have mixed heritage: they came from Russia, Ukraine, Italy and Netherlands
Our female cats start their breeding career once they are fully mature (usually when they turn a year and a half) and we continue with breeding until they are 4-5 years old. Each female is bred no more than once a year. After their breeding career is over, girls get sterilized and enjoy child-free, care-free, happy life in a loving home.
Our females live in house with us, but males are placed in a "foster home" at my parents and friend's house to prevent unwanted breeding.
It is very inconvenient habit of kittens that, whatever you say to them they always purr.”
